The bust for the medium should be 36"-37", but this measured just shy of 35". Frustrating GAP when your clothing doesn't line up with your size chart.

This halter top is really exceptional. The denim is thick and super high quality and the construction is flawless, plus somehow they made the denim extraordinarily soft. My only complaint about construction would be the buttons being pre-distressed; zoom in on the photos and you'll see where the center of each button has been worn away. The fit of this top is incredibly flattering (I got my usual XS Petite), even with my 40-year-old arms. Unlike most halter tops on the market right now, it's forgiving in the midsection as well. It's both stylish and sexy; it reminded me of tops I wore in college and made me nostalgic for days gone by. I would have kept it if not for the peplum hem, which I fully got my fill of in the mid-2000s. I might consider buying this piece again and having a tailor remove the peplum if it goes on sale. If a peplum does not bother you, you 100% should get this piece.

This is a very cute top. Fits great, is comfortable. Denim has good stretch that should hold really well. For reference, I bought a Small. I am 5'5", 34C, wear 27 jeans -- 64-year-old body, which means a bit thicker in the middle than a younger woman. NOTE: I gave this four stars because the photo doesn't show clearly that the metal buttons are a bright copper, at least on my computer.
