Make sure to not go oversized! True to size is perfect or even size down for a more snug fit on the waist.

They run big. I'm 5'7 190lbs and ordered L long, probably didn't need the long. I have the vintage soft sweats in L and they fit a little tight on the waist but the shorts were way bigger than expected probably should've ordered a medium.
