French terry is my absolute favorite fabric, and I still wear my decade-old Gap joggers/moto joggers that they first rolled out with this fabric. It's nice to have it back. I bought the Tapestry Navy Blue Wash shorts and the shacket in that same color, and they're just slightly off from each other i...n shade. Hi, Gap -- when you finesse the palette between generations of pieces but keep the color name, it would help customers to identify them as G1/G2 or similar so we're not buying pieces separately and then finding out they don't match, so we're left to keep one/both/none and then return. All that said, the shorts are a great, light weight, and they do have a drawstring waist, which isn't shown. I went with tall large and they're at the knee on me. I'm a 10/12 in pants and the medium waist fit too close to my meno belly and made the rise shorter, so I kept the large.

Nice long terry shorts. I'm 5'6 151. I normally wear a size 10/medium. I bought a size small and a medium. The small fits to a tee. The medium fits a little loose but still looks good. I think I may keep both sizes. I like longer length shorts
