Great beach cover-up — that's exactly why I bought it. It fits perfectly and runs true to size. I'm a pear-shaped, middle-aged woman with a 38" chest, and the medium fit me well. I purchased both the pink and the white. It's machine washable and perfect for the beach.
Not the biggest fan of the fit (agree with other reviews saying it somewhat tapers towards the bottom right above the drop waist and accentuates any curves in that area). I purchased a size larger for post partum and found the fit to be slightly off due to that taper. Considered buying another size ...up but then it would have been way too oversized everywhere else. Otherwise loved the material and how lightweight it was. The white dress came with a slip which was nice.

I wear a medium in pretty much everything I have from Gap (everything else is a small) so I ordered a medium. This runs very small and awkward. Bummed because I love the look of it, but I couldn't even button the chest. It did fit my daughter perfectly but she usually wears an xs.

5'10 typically L tall in Gap dresses. Read prev reviews about dress being bit narrow around hip area. I'm not big around hips but ordered XL tall just incase + wanted it loose for wearing around house on hot summer days. Love comfort & softness of cotton gauze. XL tall bit on big size as wanted & expected, hip area plenty loose enough & could've got away with L tall but happy with the loose airy fit for around the house & yard. Length just above knee + has a detachable slip so white not that see through👍 Keeping as got it almost 1/2 price. 4* cause haven't worn or washed yet.
