Great beach cover-up — that's exactly why I bought it. It fits perfectly and runs true to size. I'm a pear-shaped, middle-aged woman with a 38" chest, and the medium fit me well. I purchased both the pink and the white. It's machine washable and perfect for the beach.

Very cute summer dress. Perfect length/colour.

I had to return it. I usually ware Gap small and that dress in medium was too small at the bottom and too big at the top...plus you could see underneath the dress through the buttons. If you want that dress to fit you like the model on the picture you need to have no curve or order 2 size up and still......it's too bad I really wanted that beautiful dress.

I should have listened to the other reviewers. The problem is that the dress narrows at the bottom, where the pleats are. That means that if you have any curves, the dress accentuates them in a very unflattering way. That, in combination with the pocket placement at mid stomach, makes this a disaster. Too bad. Nice material.

I purchased the bubblegum pink version of this dress as an easy swim cover-up and summer dress (read: chic mumu). The color is fun, the dress has pockets on the side seams (yay!) and a flattering neckline. Unfortunately, it made my already wide hips look even wider, both due to the cut of the dress and the extra fabric for the pockets. Would be great for someone with narrower hips and/or discrete coverage for their stomach.
