This sweater vest is SO GOOD. It feels super quality, mid weight not too heavy. And the color is perfect. Quality is wonderful. Nice and thick but is very fitted. If you want a slouchy look, go up a size. Way too thick to wear in an 82+ degree weather though.
There were only a few reviews when I bought this and they almost all said to size up. I couldn't because the S was sold out and the XS kept popping in and out of stock. I finally got the XS and it is a perfect fit. I agree most other Gap knit vests fit looser. However, going up a size for me would have meant the armholes were too big and the bust would also have been a little sloppy. At the time only the stripe is available so ordering a S for comparison isn't doable. I am keeping it. #sweepstakes

The quality of this sweater vest is top notch. I usually wear a medium but I got a large because I like things loose on me. The cotton is soft. I love it! I washed it separately because I was afraid the vibrant red would run. The beats color stayed vibrant.
