Beautifully cut linen skirt. Hidden flat elastic band at waist is very comfortable. The long lean cut with a just perfect height side slit is so beautiful. The cut of the skirt flares slightly towards the bottom and so it's not a skinny, pencil skirt. I love it and bought it in 2 colors. I lov...e that it's not lined, as the hot Texas summers make those unnecessary and unwanted. 5'2" 100lbs. XXS fits like a dream. I only just got home with the two skirts and have not yet washed these, and am hoping they will hold up well. I have not shopped at the GAP in at least 10 years and was so happy to see the new line of clothes that seem to be good quality and good design. GAP needs to keep it up...if the quality is there, customers will come back..even after 10 years.
The waistband is a little tight to pull up over my hips comfortably and I am a solid Medium at the Gap. I was able to wear it, but it just didn't feel great. The elastic is wide and, even though it didn't feel cheap, it just didn't feel like something I was going to want to wear on repeat. The side ...slit is ok, but the length is that midi length that really doesn't hit right and can't decide if it wants to sit higher or lower. The fabric felt fine and I was a little surprised that it fell loosely around my hips. I would recommend this to the friend I know it would work well on, but in general, this isn't a piece I would tell all my friends I love.

Beautiful quality fabric, love the fit. I am 5'6" and ordered size XL in Tall for extra length and a lower waist. The elastic waistband was good even over my wide hips. Its perfect!

This really is the perfect linen skirt. Dress it up or down. The material is just thick enough not to be see through (I purchased Flax color), but it's not stiff or scratchy. The slit is just enough, not too sexy, not too constrictive. It flows out very nicely without too much material. And fits, just like the photo, at least in my case. The waistband is a bit wider than other skirts and lays flat across my waist so the skirt hangs nicely in place and does not bunch up under a fitted shirt. It also helps hold in a tucked shirt, so bonus points for that. I am 5'8, 145 lbs and ordered the M Tall (I prefer the extra length in a maxi), it fits me perfect hitting below mid-calf. I am ordering the Black.
