Beautifully cut linen skirt. Hidden flat elastic band at waist is very comfortable. The long lean cut with a just perfect height side slit is so beautiful. The cut of the skirt flares slightly towards the bottom and so it's not a skinny, pencil skirt. I love it and bought it in 2 colors. I lov...e that it's not lined, as the hot Texas summers make those unnecessary and unwanted. 5'2" 100lbs. XXS fits like a dream. I only just got home with the two skirts and have not yet washed these, and am hoping they will hold up well. I have not shopped at the GAP in at least 10 years and was so happy to see the new line of clothes that seem to be good quality and good design. GAP needs to keep it up...if the quality is there, customers will come back..even after 10 years.
The waistband is a little tight to pull up over my hips comfortably and I am a solid Medium at the Gap. I was able to wear it, but it just didn't feel great. The elastic is wide and, even though it didn't feel cheap, it just didn't feel like something I was going to want to wear on repeat. The side ...slit is ok, but the length is that midi length that really doesn't hit right and can't decide if it wants to sit higher or lower. The fabric felt fine and I was a little surprised that it fell loosely around my hips. I would recommend this to the friend I know it would work well on, but in general, this isn't a piece I would tell all my friends I love.

Really cute skirt, but it's a shorter length. I'm 5'3 and had originally bought petite. It was not maxi length at all and looked weird, which is why I took off one star. I returned and got the regular and it was the perfect length for this cut of skirt. It fits true to size, slightly relaxed. The black and white gingham is a lovely pattern and was not see through at all. I find the material a bit wrinkly and would have preferred a more natural blend such as linen and cotton. I got it on sale which is reasonable. I bought the matching top and the outfit is very elegant. #sweepstakes

I ordered this in white and loved it. I'm 5'3", 120 lbs. and the small petite fit perfectly. I don't find the slit too high, but that's a personal preference. The white is lined, making it worth the money. I loved this skirt so much, I ordered it in the brown gingham and red. Considering ordering the zebra print if it goes down in price. The red was the best deal! Love this skirt! My new summer wardrobe staple.

I bought a white small petite for my 5'3" athletic frame. Lays flat in front (no gather at the waist) and length falls perfectly between my calf and ankle. Nice material (not see thru). Highly recommend.
