Beautifully cut linen skirt. Hidden flat elastic band at waist is very comfortable. The long lean cut with a just perfect height side slit is so beautiful. The cut of the skirt flares slightly towards the bottom and so it's not a skinny, pencil skirt. I love it and bought it in 2 colors. I lov...e that it's not lined, as the hot Texas summers make those unnecessary and unwanted. 5'2" 100lbs. XXS fits like a dream. I only just got home with the two skirts and have not yet washed these, and am hoping they will hold up well. I have not shopped at the GAP in at least 10 years and was so happy to see the new line of clothes that seem to be good quality and good design. GAP needs to keep it up...if the quality is there, customers will come back..even after 10 years.
The waistband is a little tight to pull up over my hips comfortably and I am a solid Medium at the Gap. I was able to wear it, but it just didn't feel great. The elastic is wide and, even though it didn't feel cheap, it just didn't feel like something I was going to want to wear on repeat. The side ...slit is ok, but the length is that midi length that really doesn't hit right and can't decide if it wants to sit higher or lower. The fabric felt fine and I was a little surprised that it fell loosely around my hips. I would recommend this to the friend I know it would work well on, but in general, this isn't a piece I would tell all my friends I love.

I have been on the hunt for a white linen skirt of this cut and am glad to have finally found one! I originally wanted a skirt that was either tailored at the waist or only elasticized in the back because I don't like the look of elastic oftentimes. The smooth wide waistband, however, is fabulous. The fabric is not gathered or smocked, so you can't even tell it's elasticized. Super flattering at the waist with great drape. For my figure, I think it hangs best as a high-waisted skirt. The side slit adds a nice touch. Also, I love that it is lined and as far as I can tell, not see-through! Huge plus for white linen anything. Really happy with this purchase!

Soooo lovely. I have this in the red, blue and brown polka dot. Simply the best pattern in the polka dot. Love it. I'm 4 months pregnant and the small size still fits, not sure why ppl complained about this being small or tighter than last years (which I have and can confirm these are not). Beautiful quality fabric, love the fit. I am 5'6" and ordered size XL in Tall for extra length and a lower waist. The elastic waistband was good even over my wide hips. Its perfect!
