This is a beautiful skirt. I do not buy a lot of GAP, but I typically wear a size small in most other brands but had to size down to an XS for this (as well as all the other bottoms I tried on in-store). For reference, I am about 5'6", 130 lbs, 27" waist, 37" hips. I have seen several reviews on her...e saying the skirt is not see through, and I totally disagree. I was wearing light grey underwear when I tried the skirt on, and you could 100% see the outline in the back. I still ended up purchasing because I liked the skirt otherwise, but I am going to have to buy a slip to wear under.
This skirt is cute but really only great on a tall or slim figure. I am 5'5" and 135 lbs and need to wear platforms and a snug top in order to not look frumpy in this skirt. The hem grazes the top of my ankles. The fabric really attracts lint, particularly the darker colors. I ended up donating th...e black skirt in because of the lint issue. I would not pay full price for this skirt.

The skirt is super comfy and soft and very good quality thick enough that you are confident of no see-throughness happening. Even though it's a thicker cotton, it's still light and cool for summer.
