I purposely bought it larger than my son's size and still they were too tight. My son is 4 feet and 57 pounds so its not that he's too chunky! The return process was not convienent for me so I just donated them. Maybe a 3 year old could fit them

I liked the cotton content; however, socks are a little too long and tight for my child to put on by himself. Also no grips, but it's my fault I didn't notice it before purchasing.
These looked really cute and I loved other Gap socks that look similar. But after washing 2 or 3 times, the elastic got so tight around the ankle that they left marks on my child's leg. I don't know why, and even tried having them air dry instead of in the dryer but I worry about them constricting blood flow when my child's wears them. I had a pair that was washed only once to compare and they were once soft and stretchy upon purchase. Not sure what went wrong here but maybe size up in anticipation of them getting tighter.

gapcanada.ca/My kid loves the Varsity Slouch style socks from Gap I bought him recently but they sold out, so I was hoping these would be similar. He's a skinny kid with size 4 feet, so I thought size L (size 3/4) should work. Unfortunately while the length is fine they are very tight – too tight to be comfortable. They are also thinner than the Slouch version, and have a lower cotton content which you can feel when you handle them. Colours are kind of faded/vintage which is fine, but more washed out than the image shows (esp the green). There are also fade lines in the dye that are really evident on the purple and blue. I wouldn't care about that if they weren't so tight. This is the second time we've had issues with Gap kids' crew socks being super tight. Disappointed. Returning these.
