gapcanada.ca/My kid loves the Varsity Slouch style socks from Gap I bought him recently but they sold out, so I was hoping these would be similar. He's a skinny kid with size 4 feet, so I thought size L (size 3/4) should work. Unfortunately while the length is fine they are very tight – too tight to be comfortable. They are also thinner than the Slouch version, and have a lower cotton content which you can feel when you handle them. Colours are kind of faded/vintage which is fine, but more washed out than the image shows (esp the green). There are also fade lines in the dye that are really evident on the purple and blue. I wouldn't care about that if they weren't so tight. This is the second time we've had issues with Gap kids' crew socks being super tight. Disappointed. Returning these.
