As some people mentioned they are more fitted than the previous version, I got S instead of my usual XS, and they are fitted but not tight. Sleeves are shorter this year and material is a little thinner than long sleeve version but perfect for hot summer days. Length is also a little shorter, but I ...like this better. Previous version was a bit too long.
The V is too low on these for me; if I pick up my child while wearing this shirt, it immediately pulls to expose my bra. I purchased this shirt back in 2021 in the same size (Large Tall) and those were perfection. These 2026 versions have a V that is 2.25 inches lower than the version from 2021. The... body length and sleeve length are also 1 inch shorter than my older version. It's tighter in the body too, though my old ones are likely stretched out from wear. I'm not sure how the V of this current version looks so much higher on the models in the photos, but that is not how it hits on me at all! See my photos for a comparison of the 2021 version (black) to the 2026 version (navy), and for how the 2026 version fits me. The sizing is small based on the size chart. My bust is 37", waist is 31", hips are 39.5" (putting me between Med & Large on the size chart) and I have a bit of a mom pooch. The Large Tall is snug on me and at 26" long it's the shortest length I'd be comfortable wearing. I still love this fabric, which is thicker than any other nice basic tee I've found. Because of the thickness, I find it to be more smoothing and forgiving of the bumps and bulges around my midsection where my jeans waistband hits. I've found this fabric to be comfortable to wear in the hot humid summers of North Carolina. I'll be giving this shirt away (I removed the tag & wore for a day) and trying the crew neck version in a size up. Bring back the higher V-neck, please!!!!

Very disappointed in the quality of the current favorite t-shirts. It has changed and not for the better. Your t-shirt has been my go to for many, many years. But now the fabric and the fit are horrible. Your t-shirts used to be more form fitting with a nice longer length. I hate the boxy fit now and the trim around the neck used to lay flush and now looks thick and bulky. The quality of the material now is comparable to what I find at discount stores. Please bring back the favorite T-Shirt with the quality we've come to love.

I have purchased GAP Modern Fit T's for 20 years ( I'm not kidding). Last year they made the sleeves longer and the length shorter. So, when I ordered my yearly supply, they ended up becoming loungewear. This year, I was happy to see that the sleeve length was back to the not quite capped length. I ordered my usual large but opted for tall because I'd rather them be a tad too long than too short ( I work in an office environment). I opened my T's, washed them in cold, hung them to dry to discover that GAP has decided to short change the consumer in sizing by making them too small. Seriously! These fit like mediums and they lack the usual stretch. Get it together GAP…. You are issuing out junk products.

I have purchased the Gap Modern Fit T for, literal, years. The downfall started last year when you made the sleeves linger and the length shorter. I was happy to see that you remedied the sleeve length ( though the over all length still feels short)…. But now these feel like a heavier weight version of something from SHEIN. You switched your blend to include more plastic. Shame on you Gap.
