I ordered several of these organic cotton tees because I forgot my "foreversoft tees" are over at Gap Factory. I thought they had been discontinued. These arrived before I realized that. They are quite thick and I'm not a fan of how boxy they are, and the arms need to be redesigned, they creep up in...to the arm pit which is definitely a peeve of mine. Once I realized the foreversoft tees are over at GF, I sent most of these back and ordered like 15 of those (yay!). The foreversoft fit me better, aren't as boxy, are softer, and lighter, better for summer (and the arms are cut better). These organic cotton ones are fine if you want a super thick tee (good for white color no see thru). They don't shrink and they maintain the color and shape, but Gap really needs to give these at least a little more of a feminine cut and redo the arm shape. I'm glad they don't squeeze the mid-section like the modern cut, but they are just a little too boxy. Want me to say boxy one more time? ok "boxy".
Tried on an XS in store. Fit a bit oversized which was perfect as I knew it would shrink. The fabric had an almost linen blend feel and I liked it. So I decided to buy 4 online: white, black, light pink, navy. They finally came in (later than my PAID for shipping timeframe) and they were at least 2-...3 sizes smaller than in store, the fabric was a soft jersey feel and they were long and tight. The navy was larger than all the other shirts but same size. I took a picture of the label in store and confirmed the shirt with an employee while there so I have no idea what happened?? It's a completely different shirt. I'm 5'1, 110 lbs, 34DD, and an XS is way too tight in my chest area and probably 5 inches longer than the shirt in store. Gaps sizing, in any of their clothing, is so inconsistent. I can take sizes in their jeans ranging from 24-28. Items in store sometimes do not match online. Sizes in store sometimes do not match online. Closest Gap to me is an hour drive. Since I bought $200 worth of clothes, plus paid for faster shipping, I now need to make the drive to a store to find correct sizes in person, as well as the correct items.

These are great. Soft, easy, comfy basics with a bit of stretch. Long enough to tuck. I like a summer uniform - white tee & linen pants - and these are so great for that.

gapcanada.ca/These t-shirts have changed! It is so disappointing! They are now thinner and smaller than they used to be. There is no quality control resulting in wildly inconsistent sizing. I have been buying the Gap Organic Cotton Vintage T-shirts for years and have always loved them. In the past I purchased many of these t-shirts on line and had the confidence that would receive a consistent fit and fabric. Now that has all changed. The last two online orders did not fit at all and had to be returned. I drove into a Gap store (which is a far drive for me) so I could try on on person before purchasing. I tried on several mediums all of which fit completely different and none fit like they used to. Sadly these t-shirts will be a pass for me now. Please bring back the fit and quality of your past Vintage T-shirt!

Neckline is goood! I am always looking for a crew shirt to wear alone or under shirts. I HATE cheap tees that aren't stitched at neck. If you know, you know. This has a top stitch that helps neckline lay flat and not stretch out. I would say this is true to size for the look the models have. If you want tighter, size down, go up for oversize because this is not a "boyfriend cut". This is a true classic cut with normal sleeve length and circumference. Bought in white, blue, striped, and coming back for more in different sizes for different looks
