Great weight material and true to size. The Shirting Blue color is perfect with authentic looking sun fading. I love it!
Too long - arm holes and overall length. I was hoping to replace my old tank tops that I wear as a base layer under sweaters. It's not flush enough on the body - it bunches up due to the extreme length. Additionally, the arm holes are so long that it defeats the purpose; too much skin would be touch...ing the clothes that I am trying to protect from sweat. I could not wear these tanks alone because, again, the long arms make for an odd look. I ordered my regular S size. I have consistently been an S in Gap tops for decades. I will *not* try the XS because it would be too tight in the torso. Very long tank with too long arm holes, but the lateral fit is good. That means XS would be too tight (and likely still too long everywhere). Been there, done that.

Perfect for layering, but enough coverage on its own. I wear these all the time, I ordered some in white, grey, and green because it's just such a quality cotton staple.

Love this tank top! I have ordered it in almost every color. I have not ordered a ribbed tank from the GAP for probably 5 years. Although I do miss the length of the older gen, these are a perfect modern upgrade. The material is a bit different - still stretchy but not overly so. The colors are absolutely beautiful in person. I'm 5'1, 120 lbs and the small is perfect. Could probably do the medium too, but the small is not too snug and makes the armholes the perfect size.

This tank is very different from the Modern Tank, which I have several of. It is noticebly shorter. The tall size would be ok IF it didn't constantly ride up. It also does not stretch well and does not look like the pictures. The neck is much higher than it appears in the photos. Unfortunately I did not discover all this until wearing it and cutting the tags off at which point i cannot return it. Please GAP: do better. You know how to make tank tops.
