Probably not what you're expecting

Ordered the medium wash in Med Tall. It IS oversized in the body, yet still pulls across the chest when you raise/move your arms so it feels odd. It's heavy/bulky, not "ultra light" and as another reviewer said it seems more like a jacket. At best, it would be a good work shirt but that's not how it...

It's thicker than I thought, not a spring time clothing, but it's well constructed and an eye catching piece. The size difference between S and M are big so I will say not to size up.

I bought an XL because I have a large chest and it fits perfectly with a little room to spare. I prefer wearing it open but love that I can button up too. grateful for the "oversized" "big" and "loose fitting" options but would love if we could normalize these as comfortable fits.

Its a thick material, I am usually a small, and got the small petite and it was not oversized. I will have to return and exchange for the medium to have a more oversized look. I would say its true to size, so definitely size up for an oversized feel. #sweepstakes

Excellent quality and fit but sadly does not look like the photo here - 80s style acid wash which I didn't like then and don't like now! Annoying as otherwise it's great; can you fix the wash pls Gap?

I don't get the hate on the medium wash, it actually looks better in person, acid wash is a bit of a stretch. I'm a tall plus sized girlie and this definitely passes the arm raise test. A great cut, nice thick material. Depending on if you're hot natured it could be considered jacket-like but not really to me. I'm getting the lighter one since it's on sale. I went TTS to keep the oversized fit. Down a size would be perfectly form fitting. Either option would look good, just depends on how you want to wear it.
