I sized down to a L based on reviews. I also got a petite, because I prefer an ankle pant. The length is perfect for me (5'6"), but the rise is a little short. I'm Apple-shaped, so my stomach is definitely the issue not the pants. The fabric is like a heavy tshirt, and they feel amazing. I love the ...wide leg, as it has a great swing without being too wide. These are the kind of pants that will be perfect for travel, and they can be dressed up or down. I live where it is hot and humid, and I don't want a full length, heavy pant. I want something that can be worn with flip flops or cute sneakers. It's also so nice that Gap and ON have so many items that are cotton and not synthetics. These pants are giving free people vibes at a much better price!
I loved these in the store, and bought them in an xxs. They were just long enough (even though I would have liked them longer) at the store. When I got them home and washed them in cold water, put them in the dryer for about 20 minutes on medium heat, tried them on again and they had shrunk in the l...ength about 2 to 3 inches! Now I don't want to wear them because they look like floods/crop pants. Does not look flattering. So bummed because I was really psyched that they were 100% cotton, comfy and have pockets.

I got the red ones in size small and returned bc they were too large (even though they are supposed to be relaxed.) Then when returning the red ones I bought the brown ones after trying them on bc I really wanted to like them and thought they fit better. After getting them home and washing them (maybe they shrank a bit) I love them. They are light for spring/summer and are midrise on me (a bit below belly button.) I'm 5'5" 125 lb.

I'm really impressed with these pants. The 100% cotton fabric is incredibly soft and comfortable, making them perfect for all-day wear. I ordered the tall version, and the length is exactly what I needed—no awkward ankle gaps, which is hard to find. I'm very bottom-curvy and in my late 50s, which means my body has changed a lot in the last few years. These pants are incredibly flattering and comfortable. I can see wearing them even on the hottest summer days. I am 5'3, 153 lbs, and bought the M petite. Gap, please add more of these (they're almost sold out in all colors!)!!

Just okay, lots of influencer hype and I would say they are more of a heavy cotton t-shirt material rather than a knit. Fits well but white on white looks like a hospital uniform.
