I sized down to a L based on reviews. I also got a petite, because I prefer an ankle pant. The length is perfect for me (5'6"), but the rise is a little short. I'm Apple-shaped, so my stomach is definitely the issue not the pants. The fabric is like a heavy tshirt, and they feel amazing. I love the ...wide leg, as it has a great swing without being too wide. These are the kind of pants that will be perfect for travel, and they can be dressed up or down. I live where it is hot and humid, and I don't want a full length, heavy pant. I want something that can be worn with flip flops or cute sneakers. It's also so nice that Gap and ON have so many items that are cotton and not synthetics. These pants are giving free people vibes at a much better price!
I loved these in the store, and bought them in an xxs. They were just long enough (even though I would have liked them longer) at the store. When I got them home and washed them in cold water, put them in the dryer for about 20 minutes on medium heat, tried them on again and they had shrunk in the l...ength about 2 to 3 inches! Now I don't want to wear them because they look like floods/crop pants. Does not look flattering. So bummed because I was really psyched that they were 100% cotton, comfy and have pockets.

Size down. I ordered large, but should have ordered medium. Very comfortable, but the waist runs large and the colour is a bit more vintage and faded. I ordered the petite, and the length was perfect.

These 100% cotton pants are great! I got the red color with the matching tank and it looks great. I have shorter legs so I got the petite length and it was perfect-not dragging the ground but not showing too much ankle. I do wish the rise was a bit higher and I would buy every color if it was more of a button waist instead of a pull on style.
