    These shorts have some elastic in the waist and that allows an easy fit. The length is mid-thigh and the leg is wide enough to be comfortable. No belt and all day comfort because the material and cut really is perfect- so perfect I bought 3 pairs and they have become my favorite !

    Have literally 10+ pair of these for casual wear. Can spruce them up a bit too. Love 7 and 6 inch versions.

    Nice, high quality cotton shorts. They are basically casual; they look good on the hiking trail, and out for a causal evening. The fabric is substantial - not too thin. The fit is "true to size", but if a medium usually fits you snugly, then I would suggest to size up.
