Runs very large
These could be really nice but they run so large, it is not even worth the exchange process. I have a 34" waist, ordered a 33" and they are falling down. I measured them, button to button hole they measure 37". This makes no sense. If the sizing was linear I would try a 30 or a 29, but guessing ...like that is not worth it online. Go to the store and try them on, it will be the only way to find a good fit.
If you have mere human legs, these are cut way to big around the openings and have been for years. When is Gap going to get the message already???

All shorts from all common brands have a very long j stitch this season, it causes a whisker crease at the start of the inseam. I dont need the pivot point on the shorts to be halfway down my thigh. The quality of the fabric is good though.

Good pair of shorts. The mostly cotton material works well in appearance & feel (not too stiff, wrinkly, or soft). Natural fabrics are better for your health & environment. For my preference, the 8 inch inseam is not too long nor too short.
Chino style that will last a long time. Straight fit, thus not too tight nor baggy. Fabric feels tough, & seams are strongly made with no loose threads. Color options are popular, thus they match various outfits.
