I own this tank in both black and white. Overall, I really like them. The fabric has some weight so the top isn't see-through or clingy. The higher neck is very flattering and the length is great. The biggest issue I have is that it's been really hard to find a bra that doesn't show. The arm holes a...re cut very low and the neckline exposes bra straps. All traditional bras I've worn show under the arms and the straps are exposed at the shoulder and back. But a racerback bra doesn't work either because then the straps show at the neckline in the back. It would be helpful if the Gap sold a smooth bra that works well with these design issues or tweaked the design of the top.

Disappointed!
please bring back the "Rib Halter Tank Top". I thought the Modern Rib tank would be the same but it's not. Fabric is thicker, which is fine but then the armhole and neck rib trim is too thick with all the seam allowance layers inside. Wish they had used plain jersey. Also the armholes on this one... is HUGE! you can see the edge of my bra cup if I don't keep pulling it out on the sides. Just decided to return 2 of the colors and keep the stripe and heather grey. Those weren't as bad.
These tanks are perfect as a shirt in the summer or a layer in the winter. Perfect fit, comfy and flattering cut. I'm glad I was able to grab the red to add to my holiday wardrobe.

I loved the fit of the tank top but more importantly, the material is soft, stretchy, and not super thin. That's important for me when wearing a white tank top. Loved it so much I got the tank in three colors. I'm very picky with tank tops and these I love.
