I really wanted to keep it. It's such a beautiful skirt, light, flowy, feminine, not see-through, it's just what I wanted for the summer. Unfortunately, I had to return because even the smallest size (XS in petite) is too big on me around the waist. I wish the waist had been made of elastic so it co...uld accommodate more body types. Unfortunately, it has a side closure with a zipper and would be difficult to alter. Regrettably, I had to return.
For reasons unknown to me, Gap added a side zipper to a skirt that already has pull-on type back-of-waistband elastic; because of the thickness of the elastic waistband where it is sewn to the zipper, the zipper can't fully close (or requires more force than I am willing to apply to delicate cotton)... and gapes open at the waistband. The fabric is beautiful but I don't know what they were thinking with the waist design (and the blue eyelet skirt I also ordered from this season has the same issue). Just pick one closure- pull on or zip up!

It's a cute skirt that fits nicely, but it doesn't have pockets. The description on the website is misleading in saying that it's 100% cotton. Upon receiving and looking at the tag, it says the lining of the skirt is made of 100% polyester -- completely defeating the point of a light and breathable skirt for the summer. Might return.
