I am 5'6, 140lbs with a 27 inch natural waist and 32 inch inseam. I have a short torso, and wider hips. I ordered the Medium in Regular length. The quality is amazing, the fabric is exactly what you'd expect from Gap. I have tried so many shades of brown pants this spring and this is by far the best...
I feel compelled to write this review because I am extremely disappointed in the quality of Gap's recent clothing. I spent approximately $300 on several items that have now been worn and washed, so unfortunately I can't return them. I purchased these linen pants expecting them to be the same quality...

I feel compelled to write this review because I am extremely disappointed in the quality of Gap's recent clothing. I spent approximately $300 on several items that have now been worn and washed, so unfortunately I can't return them. I purchased these linen pants expecting them to be the same quality as the pair I bought about three years ago, but I was wrong. I ordered the same style in multiple colors, all in a Medium Petite. When they arrived, every pair fit differently despite being labeled the exact same size. That should have been my sign to return them. Instead, I kept them and washed them according to the care instructions. I did not put them in the dryer, yet every pair still shrank after the first wash. Between the inconsistent sizing, the shrinking, and the noticeable drop in quality, these pants are nothing like the ones I purchased years ago. I expected much better from Gap, especially for the price.

I love the ease of these pants. The red color is great, and the blue stripe is subtle but a nice touch. These wash really well. I dried them a little bit and then hung them and didn't even need to iron them. I went a size down because I didn't want them too baggy and they were perfect. At 5'5" the length is perfect.
