Not for large chested girls and petites. it has a lot of fabric and to get it to fit on top would have to go up a size.

As another reviewer mentioned, this dress runs very small at and just below the chest. My measurements on waist and bust are closer to an XS. I ordered a S in this dress and it was almost too tight to zip up. Might have been better on me in a M. Also, it is not mentioned in the description that this dress is lined in the red color. The lining is a thin cotton, but with the shirring, it ends up being a heavy dress. This would not be an ideal dress for a hot summer day.

I like everything about this dress! It fits me perfectly, I can wear it with or without a T-shirt or a long sleeve shirt and that rocks! I've been shopping at the Gap since I was 16 years old...I am now 67 and I can truly say this... the quality of clothing has not changed; for decades I have found timeless pieces that I still wear and I've always gotten cost per wear out of everything I have! :)

Beautiful dress, but my usual size (medium tall) was too small in the bust; I couldn't zip it with a bra. And with no bra, there wasn't enough support. I returned it and tried a large tall, but then it was too large and frumpy. Such a bummer!
