From the comments everyone made I wanted to love this hat on me! The pattern is just a bit too busy for my taste. The small was too small and the large was too large. Unfortunately I will be returning. It arrived in a plastic bag and the hat was misshapen as well. I expected better from Gap.

Quite cute and comfortable. Perfect sun hat. I went with the M/L. I found the S/M, although technically my size according to the measurements, didn't sit as deep on my head and therefore could blow off my head easily with any bit of wind. Highly recommend it!
