Gap has been doing the very best in dresses. This is so dang flattering- and Im tall and have a large bust- hard to fit. Sick of those babydoll nap dresses with puffy sleeves that have no shape and a vibe that makes you look like a pregnant cult member. This is elegant, 40s-50s inspired design that ...is elongating and effortless. You don't know me, designers, but you love me :)
I purchased this in the brown stripe and wish I could exchange it for a size up but that's not possible, sadly. Trust the reviews - it is very cinched at the waist so my normal size barely lets me close the buttons and I'm worried if I even ate a leaf of parsley or breathed too deeply the buttons wo...uld put someone's eye out. The fabric is super lightweight, would be great for travel or work, as long as there's an iron nearby. Oh well!

Love this dress. Super lightweight. Love how cinched the waist is since sometimes I struggle with them being too baggy. Love that it comes with a light cotton slip dress underneath. For reference, I'm 5'7 about 118-120lbs and purchased an xs.

I am typically 8 or 10, this is very fitted at waist even for tall size so might want to go up a size. M TALL,Fit me fine, but I am on thin side. Like dress but unsure if I will wear the short slip under dress provided. Definitely will need to steam dress prior to wearing. Overall like it and will be nice in AZ hot weather.

This was on my spring/summer wish list and I am so happy to find at Gap. A super nice white dress who will be so useful to many occasions, a colored belt, a scarf and nice sandals and voila! Design of this dress is good, it gives you a beautiful shape. I took one star off because it is too long just like other reviews shared. I got petite, but for my 158 cm height, it is still too long. I can see the potential that if it is shorter it will be nicer.
