Earlier I bought the black and medium wash baby boot in a 26 petite. I am 5'2", 108lbs, pear shape. The fit is perfect. I liked them so much, I wanted the dark wash too, but they were sold out. So I patiently waited and kept checking for them to come back in stock almost everyday :). I just kne...w they would come back in stock at some point because they are a well designed updated jean. The dark wash came back in stock today, and I just ordered them, and then ordered another medium wash, so now I will have two medium washed jeans. The length is perfect. I was hoping they would shrink in length at least an 1/8" to a 1/4" and they did. I didn't put them in the drier. I never put my jeans in the drier unless I really need the jeans to be much smaller. Technically I am 5'1 1/2" and these jeans are about an 3/16" from the floor on me, so I can wear 1/2" to 3" high heeled shoes, or even higher with these jeans, and all these height options would look good.
I've been a faithful GAP customer since my early teens, about 31 years now, and love the jeans! Unfortunately, a few years ago they discontinued my favorite jean which was a GAP staple, (The Modern Bootcut). I just tried two new styles of jeans; The Mid Rise Baby Boot and the '70's flare. Neither je...an were available in the 24 Long, I ended up trying the 25 Long but they were just too big. The Baby Boot is truly a straight cut leg and two inches shorter than the '70's flare. The '70's flare jean is extremely flare and the perfect length. The Modern Bootcut was seriously the perfect fitting jean. When I wear my jeans I always receive compliments, females will ask where I purchased them from too. I always mention GAP (The Modern Bootcut), online only (but unavailable at the moment). Please bring them back and 24 Long. Thank You I will upload photos of the style number of The Modern Bootcut Jean label

I ordered these jeans in 2 sizes, my usual Gap size and the next largest, after reading reviews that this style fits smaller than usual. The jeans in my usual size arrived first and were, indeed, snugger than usual. Other than that, I liked the fit, slim in hip and thigh, with a small flare at the bottom of the leg. The second pair has been delayed so I am still waiting for delivery. I should mention that these jeans are Medium Indigo, as different colours sometimes have different fits.
