After reading the reviews, I anticipated these jeans fitting true to size or maybe a bit smaller. I'm 5'4", so I was in between ordering the regular inseam or a shorter one. My waist measures to be about 25.5 inches, so I ordered a 25 and a 26 with standard inseams. The 26 was too large. The 25 is a...lso a little big at the waist. The jeans fall at my lower ankle, making them more of a full-length style. I typically only purchase 100% cotton denim, so I think the stretch contributes to the looser feeling. I should have kept that in mind when ordering and sized down for the snug fit I prefer. Some reviews mentioned that these are more of a mid rise fit, which wasn't the case for me. They fit me at a perfect high rise, hitting my natural waistline. I do have a shorter torso though. I will keep these jeans, since they do look great and a little tailoring should make them fit nicely. In the future, I would probably size down to a 24, maybe even a 24 petite if I want the ankle length style. If you can, try these on in store before buying.
I gave it a low rating because I bought one pair in sage washed them and they came out with bleach marks. I thought I must have cleaned something that had bleach in it and I did it so I ordered a second pair because I really like the color and fit and made sure to not get anything on them but I wash...ed the second pair and the second pair has bleach spots. I use mild detergent (earth breeze detergent sheets which I recommend because no big plastic bottles) i was actually going to try a third pair but they are now out of my size in sage. I was looking at the reviews to see if anyone else had the same problems. I haven't finished looking at all reviews after I read a similar review. Has anyone else had this problem with the green sage.

I ordered my usual size, but found them to be a lot shorter in the waist than they look on the models, and too tight overall in the hip and bum, even with the stretch. Not flattering on me unfortunately, and they do not carry the same color in curvy fit, so they went back.

I really like these jeans ! I'm not one to buy really big open cut at the bottom jeans ! But these were so cute! And they were on sale! I loved them even more! I usually have a hard time fitting myself into jeans cause each brand ranges differently but either way GAP they range so perfect so what ever size you are normally that is the size on here! #sweepstakes

Love the style but in my size (Women's 14-16) the wide leg looks ginormous. Just SO MUCH fabric that I looked like a 90s raver kid :/ Same with all the wide leg jeans they are making at the moment

I wish these fit me better. I like the lighter wash and wide cuff style the bottom. The fit description did mention fitted at the hips and thighs but even sizing up they are more snug than I prefer in those areas and left noticeable back gap at the waist. The curvy fit was not on sale, otherwise I would go that route. #sweepstakes

This is my first time buying jeans from GAP. Bought 3 pairs since they were on sale after the Christmas holiday. Ordered in size 29 (Regular) Short in the colors new medium indigo, black, and seamed light wash. For reference I am 5'2 ,150 lbs. and the fit was perfect. Not too short or long or tight around the stomach area, just flattering in all the right places. Definitely will be buying in more colors in the future. Absolutely love these jeans and can see why the original price is $75-$95 for a pair. I have ordered jeans from American Eagle and Hollister before but these GAP jeans are better quality in my opinion. Best clothing purchase for myself in a long while!

These are a great jean and I wanted to make them work, but I find curvy pants from Gap do better on me. These still fit and had good stretch.
