I struggled with what size to keep in the iconic Jean jacket and settled with a medium regular. I'm 5'5" 135 lb with a longer torso. It seemed big and boxy on me but with the high percentage of cotton I assumed it would shrink a little. And it did,shrank right down to a perfect fit. I was amazed at ...how beautiful this came out of the drier , wrinkle free and smooth like butter. Color and quality top notch. I'm new to owning the iconic Jean jacket wasn't my thing, but with the high waisted 90's loose fit back, brought me to this icon. I'm so happy with my purchase. Gaps Jean jacket is the best I found and I've been looking.
I wanted to love this so much ,,but it's just too short for me to feel comfortable wearing it. First I tried a small an it felt tight and too short,then a medium & it was too boxy and as short as the small. Returned. Ordered another small hoping this one will be cut differently, no to jeans are th...e same, and it was, with a little more room but the color is not as pretty as the first small I had but just as short. I don't look good with a longer shirt underneath a cropped top makes me look boxy. I don't wear dresses or jeans baggy enough I would feel concealed with so much opening to my backside,my most less than flattering part at age my age 54. Lol not ready to dress frumpy but not into dressing like a teenager either. Material, color & quality was top notch, I am so disappointed that it didn't work out

Love this jacket! I originally ordered a Petitie M, but wanted a little more room, so ended up with a Petite L. It's comfortable and fits perfectly! The customer service team at my local Gap store were great. I ordered the item online and got a sale price. I had to return the M for a L and they honored the price and had the replacement sent to my home.
