After reading the reviews, I anticipated these jeans fitting true to size or maybe a bit smaller. I'm 5'4", so I was in between ordering the regular inseam or a shorter one. My waist measures to be about 25.5 inches, so I ordered a 25 and a 26 with standard inseams. The 26 was too large. The 25 is a...lso a little big at the waist. The jeans fall at my lower ankle, making them more of a full-length style. I typically only purchase 100% cotton denim, so I think the stretch contributes to the looser feeling. I should have kept that in mind when ordering and sized down for the snug fit I prefer. Some reviews mentioned that these are more of a mid rise fit, which wasn't the case for me. They fit me at a perfect high rise, hitting my natural waistline. I do have a shorter torso though. I will keep these jeans, since they do look great and a little tailoring should make them fit nicely. In the future, I would probably size down to a 24, maybe even a 24 petite if I want the ankle length style. If you can, try these on in store before buying.
I gave it a low rating because I bought one pair in sage washed them and they came out with bleach marks. I thought I must have cleaned something that had bleach in it and I did it so I ordered a second pair because I really like the color and fit and made sure to not get anything on them but I wash...ed the second pair and the second pair has bleach spots. I use mild detergent (earth breeze detergent sheets which I recommend because no big plastic bottles) i was actually going to try a third pair but they are now out of my size in sage. I was looking at the reviews to see if anyone else had the same problems. I haven't finished looking at all reviews after I read a similar review. Has anyone else had this problem with the green sage.

I bough these in store and paid full price because I loved them so much! I am 5'2" and got the 4R because I didn't want them short. I got the medium indigo with the unfinished hem. They keep their shape all day long and don't bag out. I also ordered another pair with the seam down the front in a 4 also but those ran a little bigger. I will order those in a 2 when I catch them on sale because I love them so much!

I am 5'1&130lbs and these pants fit great length wise. They look so good and everyone compliments them. I like how comfortable they are and their material allowes me to bundle up and wear them with leggings underneath due to winter and without. My top favorite jeans!

I love the bright blue color, front seam, and style of these pants but they fit extremely strangely. They're described as high rise but they're not. There mid rise but with a very short waist and zipper. Creates a gape at the waist in back if you're curvy. Don't hug the waist. I am always size 30 in gap and other jeans and these were very small- at least one full size smaller and probably more. And they have no give or stretch.

gapcanada.ca/These wide-leg jeans are a wardrobe staple! I had to size up for the dark indigo wash (went from 28 to 29), and they fit perfectly. However, the medium indigo ones are true to size, no need to size up in medium wash. The raw hem versions aren't my favorite, but the hemmed ones are adorable, stretchy, and I could wear them all day. I'm 5'3" and the regular inseam was perfect to be worn with 1.5 to 2-inch heels.

gapcanada.ca/I am 5'3 and regular inseam was just perfect for me to wear with short heels. However the raw hem of the medium blue looked hideous. Also the flare is awkward at the ends. The color of the jeans doesn't really look like the one's showed on the model. Will be returning it!

5'8", 140-150lbs, ordered size 29, regular. HIGHLY RECOMMEND! Fit is incredible and the length is perfect with flats or boots. They skim the top of my chunky sneakers which makes them look a little too long, but since they work so well with other shoes I'm keeping. I ordered 1 size up for the white color version, which seems to run small.

I'm 5'6" and 149 pounds. I usually wear a 30 or 31 in GAP jeans. I bought the optic white and admiral blue in both sizes and both were way too tight in the waist and hip. I'd like to reorder both in 32, but the price is a fair bit higher than last week when I bought them.

I do love these jeans because I have a long rise and a 27 inch inseam, so if I buy the regular length, they fit like full length jeans. I have 5 pairs and every single pair varies significantly in size and length. Not a single one fits like the others. It's weird.
