Size XLTall I usually wear a L-XL, Tall. Although it achieves the look i am going for, these pants run a full size too small and are shorter than advertised. These reach at least 2 inches above my ankle. To achieve the fit in the photo, SIZE UP 1. Overall I'm glad I upsized because the fit is small...er and i was hoping to achieve a slightly oversized look. I was worried the xl would be too baggy. Instead they are exactly as i hoped. Gonna style with kitten heels and gold accessories. The XL fits like an L.
Yes it's a breathable material but it's TOO thin. The black is okay but it's the white pants that aren't worth it honestly, you can see EVERYTHING even with a nude or white underwear. The bottoms are super loose but the top is tight (not uncomfortably tight but not completely comfortable either) may...be that's how the style is. As a bigger woman I'd go with something more elasticity at the top rather than a string tie. Material is nice and feels natural but definitely not Gaps best, I'd give it a 3/10.

Super comfortable and true to size. Just need the weather to warm up a bit so I can wear them. The Gap needs to offer more colours of these pants.

The gingham pattern is cute, and overall these pants are loose. I am usually between a small/medium and the small has plenty of room. However, the one part that does seem to run small is the rise of the pant. I'm 5'2'' and the rise feels especially short to me…I was expecting to wear these high waisted but can't because the rise is so short. They end up sitting much lower. Still cute but something to be aware of.
