Milkmaid, but denim. Extremely flattering especially if you have broad shoulders or a gifted bosom. I got it in a medium but there's so much elastic in the back I probably should have gone with the small…unfortunately I tore the tag off in my excitement. So I am not really making use of the elastic ...when I'm wearing it but it is super useful with allowing me to do up the hook and eye clasp in front and then turning the dress around the right way to do up the zipper. That way I can put the dress on by myself. You do need to attach the clasp; otherwise the zipper will slide down, as a different review noted! The regular length hits me just above my ankle, and I love the pockets. The denim is a nice shade of dark blue and feels very soft.
Based on comments went with a large as they said it runs large. My chest was awkwardly placed. I am 38 dd and large size didn't accommodate. I am apple shape. 62 inches 185 pounds

Really cute light-weight denim dress. The corset waist is very flattering. It's pretty long, but not quite maxi length. I'm 5'6" / 160 lbs and the large fits well. I'd feel comfortable not wearing a bra as the top is fairly supportive. Even though it's super cute, I'm returning it because it's not exactly what I'm looking for.

I'm 5'6" and usually around a size 8-10/M-L and this ran pretty big—I got a M and I would have exchanged for a S if it was still in stock—it fits close enough, but the elastic smocking isn't stretched at all. I'm planning to keep it but will need to add another buttonhole to the straps to take them up an inch or two. I'm not busty, and the top felt like it was hanging a bit low with the current strap length. The fabric is nice, the zipper feels smooth and high quality, and there are pockets. It's not an airy breezy type of fabric, it's a pretty heavy denim for a dress, so keep that in mind if you're looking for something more lightweight for summer.

This dress is so cute and flattering, supportive (with or without a bra) at the top, flows nicely to lower shin. Material is light weight so could be worn year round depending on your climate. LOVE the side slit pockets too!!
