I agree with the other reviewers that the black does not match the stock photo and is a true, solid black, but this was actually my preference. I also got the navy and those are a washed look. These are so, so cute and are great "mom" pants to wear around and be comfortable while also cute. I have w...orn then as true sweats around the house or dressed up a bit with a sweater. I ordered my true size L and I did not find the waistband too tight, but it is fitted.
I ordered my usual size small. I have the other style of gap barrel sweatpants in small and they are AAH-MAZING and fit perfectly! These were extremely tight in the waistband however, and the black in the photo is what I thought I'd receive (which is more of a washed black). I received true black. I... cut the tags right away because I was excited to wear them! So MY fault. So for anyone else, I would recommend ordering a size up and try on before cutting the tags! I am bummed that I essentially wasted money but I'll give them away so someone else can enjoy them. I am usually very happy with all of GAP products though!!

Love the look! But if you lay down, the color bleeds on what you are laying on. If you wear boots the color bleeds on your boots! So sad!

Great, heavyweight cotton but I agree with other reviews: the waistband is very tiny! Just needs another inch (for size S) and it would be more comfy!

Like others have said the black is not a washed black like the picture, but a true black. I really wanted washed black so that's disappointing. I'm still keeping them since they're flattering on my and you can never have too many pairs of comfy black pants.
