This dress is very comfortable and fits really well, there's a bit of stretch to it, hugs you in all the right places. The material is very soft and moves with you, highly recommend

Body contours was spot on. The neck is too wide and the shoulder straps are too long. Had to do alterations which didn't justify the overall price. But the body contouring was super, so worth it.

Size 10 was too small and size 12 was sewn askew. Wouldn't recommend at full price.

I had high hopes for this beautiful dress but the fit didn't work for my 5'2" body. I've ordered Gap denim dresses in the past in regular sizes that have worked out great because I like my dresses longer. However, this one didn't work because the upper portion of the dress was too long so that the cap sleeves fell off my shoulders. Also, the upper part of the dress seems to run a little large whereas the skirt is very form-fitting. For reference, I'm 115 lbs, 34B, with a straight body type. I usually wear a Gap size 0 but in this dress the size 4 fit perfectly below the waist but the top was too big. Also, something was off with the alignment of the back slit of the dress. No matter how I tried to adjust the dress, the slit was always off center and didn't hang right which is why I took off a star. Maybe it's an isolated flaw on the one I received, but it made an otherwise beautiful dress hang strangely in the back.

I was excited to order this dress because I love Zac Posen's design and it looks like it would fit like a glove. After reading other reviews that said it runs small I decided size up to a size 6. I should've gone with my gut instinct, which is that gap is really very much into vanity sizing. I assumed that maybe since Zac was behind this is would be more in line with traditional slightly higher end fashion sizing. Not the case! Huge and that's totally unflattering. The denim is also very stiff even though the seams are nice and it looks well made with a very nice zipper. I don't think I'll buy a smaller size.
