This sweater is lovely and a beautiful heritage piece. However, this is vastly smaller than similar gap sweaters. The other 100% cotton sweaters I have from this season are all XS - I'm 5'9" and 120lbs, I have to size up to a L to get a similar fit - otherwise the sleeves are SO short and the sweate...r looks too cropped. My normal XS or S literally looks like a child's sweater. I'd take at least one, if not two, sizes up from your normal GAP sweater size.
Bought two - brown and off white. Brown fits perfectly (slim, not tight; short, not cropped) but white (definitely not off white) was noticeably bigger and arms were pieced together wrong, creating bulges on top of shoulder. Kept the brown (love) and returned the white. Mixed review is for the incon...sistency in sizing and quality control. Pro tip: size up if you want to put this sweater in the dryer. It's 100% cotton and will shrink.

The sweater is cute and comfortable. I am 5'2" 98 lbs. Based on reviews, I got a Petite Medium because I wanted to be able to wear a t-shirt underneath if it's really cold. It fits well. I would recommend it.

Not a fan of the crop cut but I love that it's 100% cotton. Hard to find clothes without synthetic fibres. It's a little large, I wanted it large and cozy but it seems wider than anything.
