This sweater is lovely and a beautiful heritage piece. However, this is vastly smaller than similar gap sweaters. The other 100% cotton sweaters I have from this season are all XS - I'm 5'9" and 120lbs, I have to size up to a L to get a similar fit - otherwise the sleeves are SO short and the sweate...r looks too cropped. My normal XS or S literally looks like a child's sweater. I'd take at least one, if not two, sizes up from your normal GAP sweater size.
Sure, IF you figured out the work-around to order this in Tall XL to get the actual fit pictured - as so many did - and IF you didn't order the brown, this could be an ok sweater. The construction is great, the sizing is just for toddlers. But to keep selling that brown version - which is beautiful ...- with a super locked-in stench of rotting onions is so disappointing to a decades-long loyal customer. It's just plain dishonest to sell these as first quality garments. Shame on GAP.

#Sweepstakes: I got the blue stripped sweater and I loved the blue color- it was brighter than in the pictures. I got my normal size large- 5'8" 150# and the sweater fit nicely and was not tight. I did get it in tall because some pics on the model looked short but I didn't need the tall- the sleeves went pasts my wrists and I have long arms. I love the sweater and I would definitely recommend it. I like the weight and fit and neck line!

gapcanada.ca/Beautiful sweater, but runs small! Or I guess it's not that it runs small, but that it's a very fitted/slim cut. I wear an XS at Gap, but ordered a large for a more relaxed fit. I could have even done an XL. I think the model in the cream sweater is the truest depiction of the fit. If you want it to fit like the model wearing the light blue, definitely size up.

I got the yellow in a medium. I don't like my tops super tight or restricting, especially sweaters. I'm 5'3 115 and I got this in a medium regular. I love the fit! It has a good weight to it, it feels like it's going to last!! I'm waiting for a sale so I can get a few more colors.
