Bought size 10 for my tall 8 year old. Fit perfectly and paired with a basic white t-shirt is perfect for fall pajamas for boys who run hot at night. Planning to get him a robe for in the house when winter hits.
Flannel is Cotton. Period. Recycled polyester is about the worst fabric possible, especially for sleepwear. Does not breathe. The recycled element means the fabric fiber strands are very weak, resulting in almost immediate pilling and holes. Sounds environmentally conscious, but not when you get ONE... wear out of a garment before they look and feel like absolute garbage. In addition, not one matching top and bottom left available and it is still 3 weeks till Christmas. Patterns and bear pocket detail adorable. Shame materials are horrendous and selection terrible.

Just received these child pants plus a matching men's pair. The adult pants are a thin soft flannel, but you can see through this scratchy thin child's pair. Gap advertises "PJs for all. Cut from the same cloth", then uses a completely different and cheaper material for the kids. I'm extremely disappointed in Gap and I'll be sending these back. Some of us want the matching pajamas to be worn again, not just disposable for a photo opportunity.
