Never ordered an XXL in my life! This one needs it. It does lengthen the sleeves, but I can work with it. Great quality. Too bad dark denim was sold out. Purchased black, so we'll see.
The fabric was sturdy denim, the metal buttons so fun. I tried two sizes: my normal medium tall (wear that with almost all brands) and a large tall so I could perhaps wear it over other shirts. Neither one would button across my bust and I'm not large (34dd) for my height. The medium tall fit great ...everywhere else (sleeves that came all the way to my hands, perfect fit on the shoulders, perfect on the waist). Both sizes, however, had the strangest hems. They stuck out like a peplum top and had so much random fabric. It's not shown in the photos at all. I felt like I would need to buy pants two sizes large in order to tuck all that hem in. (Perhaps just an issue with the tall sizes?) I love and wear fitted shirts, I love ecru denim, and this shirt was checking off so many boxes for me until I tried it on. So bummed!

Comments about Denim Cinch-Seam Shirt
The denim is a thick and stiff, so it is not comfy and does not lay well. It would function better as a jacket than a shirt. I am sure over (a lot) of time and wear, it would soften and become a favorite. Not sure I have the patience for that though. It does seem like very good quality. I am debating whether to keep or return.

This shirt is much thicker than I anticipated, it is more like a jean jacket than a shirt. It's a great shirt for Spring or Fall when light cotton shirts are not warm enough and you don't want to lug around a jacket. I would suggest sizing up. I'm a size 6/ 34C and even the medium is a little snugger than I expected but the fit is really nice. #sweepstakes

Denim cinch - seam shirt great quality denim that will last for years, available in different denim colors and flattering with the cinch seam making it a stand out classic denim piece, unique & versatile worn alone as a heavier weight shirt or jacket over a thin shirt complimenting any outfit. Sure to be a favorite piece in wardrobe. So pleased purchased all three color options. Bonus available in tall sizes. Thanks GAP!!

The cut and fabric quality of this shirt was amazing! Unfortunately, I had to return it because my bust is too large for it and it was pulling across my chest. Bummer. #sweepstakes

Nice looking and I like the weight of it, HOWEVER, though I'm very thin, this does not fit across my chest, and I'm not huge in the chest. If you're flat chested, it should work, if not forget it. I bought a small and extra small, and neither worked. Around my body I could wear either size, but not for my chest. I'm sure a medium would be too big around me.
