I ordered the white and the indigo versions. The white is bigger, looks more sloppy out of the package. The indigo will fit well with just a bust dart. I checked the material, and white is almost all cotton. I'm going to try washing the white to see if it gets closer in sizing to how it want it ...to fit. Both purchased in size L. As usual for me, armholes are always too big in my size. A bust dart can do the job if it all goes as planned.
The fabric was sturdy denim, the metal buttons so fun. I tried two sizes: my normal medium tall (wear that with almost all brands) and a large tall so I could perhaps wear it over other shirts. Neither one would button across my bust and I'm not large (34dd) for my height. The medium tall fit great ...everywhere else (sleeves that came all the way to my hands, perfect fit on the shoulders, perfect on the waist). Both sizes, however, had the strangest hems. They stuck out like a peplum top and had so much random fabric. It's not shown in the photos at all. I felt like I would need to buy pants two sizes large in order to tuck all that hem in. (Perhaps just an issue with the tall sizes?) I love and wear fitted shirts, I love ecru denim, and this shirt was checking off so many boxes for me until I tried it on. So bummed!

I normally wear large, bought large. Perfect in chest and waist, but armholes are too big, making this look sloppy. I'll be taking them in eventually. Otherwise really love the material and cut/style. May replace the buttons with something like copper but need to see how it works.

The denim is a thick and stiff, so it is not comfy and does not lay well. It would function better as a jacket than a shirt. I am sure over (a lot) of time and wear, it would soften and become a favorite. Not sure I have the patience for that though. It does seem like very good quality. I am debating whether to keep or return.

Never ordered an XXL in my life! This one needs it. It does lengthen the sleeves, but I can work with it. Great quality. Too bad dark denim was sold out. Purchased black, so we'll see.

This shirt is much thicker than I anticipated, it is more like a jean jacket than a shirt. It's a great shirt for Spring or Fall when light cotton shirts are not warm enough and you don't want to lug around a jacket. I would suggest sizing up. I'm a size 6/ 34C and even the medium is a little snugger than I expected but the fit is really nice. #sweepstakes
