Love these jeans. They're beyond comfortable and the look changes depending on if you cinch them at the hem or not. I took a star off because would prefer if they were an inch or 2 longer. Worried about them shrinking and going shorter.

My mistake was assuming that the regular length would hit me, a 5'5" woman with unremarkable gams, at about the same length as they hit these surely statuesque models. Surely Gap's chosen styling to model this jean would at least be giving the idea of the comparable length for a dead average "regular" cut?? Nope. HIGH WATERS CITY. The hem on these pants are right at my ankle bones uncinched, an inch above cinched. The waist is also not what I would consider high waisted but it does come up to below the belly button on the models. I still had to double check if they sent me a petite size by accident but nope, it is tagged as regular. And after waiting patiently for two weeks to receive them, I find that the tall length in my size is sold out. I'm so disappointed because I wanted them for an upcoming trip. The denim is soft, but seriously, Gap? Why would you model the length at the length modeled if an average height person would need to buy the Tall size to hopefully get that length??
