Fit really well - great style for someone with a little mie on the top

The fit was excellent. I'm tall and the small fit wonderfully. I did NOT buy the tall size (which I normally do when it's available) and this fell pretty long so I suspect it works a bit better for those over 5'7", The cut is wonderful. There is a lot of fabric, so I would order down in size if your bust is small enough for it. There isn't tons of bust support, but if you're petite on top it isn't an issue. This worked really well as a sundress all summer and for a "fancy" dinner in Hawaii.

This dress is beautiful. The material is so light and soft and it feels like wearing air. It's long enough to be a true maxi in the tall size for me at 5'8 (and looks so much better longer than in the photo). I can wear it without a bra as a 32D. BUT there is one really big design flaw imo in the thin tiny straps. They cut into my shoulders almost immediately. I've never had a blister from a strap before! I shortened them as much as possible and kept pulling up the bodice which worked pretty well but I am considering taking a slice from the slip to make a slightly wider strap that is more functional and less painful.

I bought this dress in both petite and regular M and I can't decide which to keep. It is "old school" glam (think cat eye shades and a red lip) and I can dress this down my converse comme de garçons or up with a bow laden heel. The runched bodice is supportive enough that I can skip wearing a bra and yes there are glorious pockets!

The skirt was too poufy and I didn't like how close the straps were on my back. They weren't really halter straps but they weren't really regular straps either - they kinda fell in between.

I've been wanting a classic black and white polka dot dress and this one is fantastic! I am a 12/14 or Large in most Gap items. Ordered the large and it fit great! I do agree the chest could be a little less elastic-y so that it fit a little more snug, but it does t take away from the the dress. For reference I'm a 38C. Absolutely love this dress.

Definitely pretty cute but I think the stretchy top part needs to be a bit LESS stretchy so it provides a bit more support up top. It's more of a 7 out of 10 for me. 3.5 stars
