I bought the navy in sz 10 for my just turned 8 year old. I washed in cold and dried on low and they still shrunk a full size. I put them up against one of his current old navy sz 8 shirts and they were now the same size. They are great shirts otherwise, and can be worn for pjs or out, but he won't ...be able to wear them long.
My son likes to wear undershirts just by themselves. I ordered these because they were organic and would be softer and more comfortable for him. The tag shows through the black shirt and even the white shirts. I still have yet to receive the gray ones but anticipate them to be the same. Also the shi...rts shrank a littler more than I was expecting. Not ideal for kids who are taller and slimmer because of the length shrinking. I also expected the material to be slightly thicker or a little higher quality for being Gap but honestly not much better than Hanes undershirts. Very disappointed. This was my second order from Gap and both orders had issues. Everyone told me Gap had better quality but can't say that was my experience. A third of my orders were far below my expectations or defective. Maybe quality has gone down.

I love the organic cotton undershirts from GAP. I get several (2-pack) every year for both my grandsons. The cotton is soft and smooth, and they wash up so nicely. My grandsons use them as under shirts in the winter and sleep/play shirts in the spring and summer. They get great wear out of them!

I'm not sure if the quality will hold up to regular washes - this material tends to pull, but everyone needs white tees as an underlayer in the colder months.
