As an elder millennial/xennial, I remember the oringinal long and lean. In fact, I still have an old pair in my closet from back in the day that's a bit snug lol. The curvy fit actually fits me much better now and would have actually fit me better then (though in a smaller size lol) but I don't think this particular style was offered in curvy when the body shape fits were first introduced 20 years ago or so. I do think these pants run slightly large for their size which my pride loves, but if you got thighs and and hips they fit beautifully. The waist is not tight as all so no muffin top (it's maybe even so slightly loose feeling as it has a slight stretch). The rise is NOT the low rise from back in the late 90s early 2000s. The back definitely is higher for their size in the curvy and you don't have to worry about bending over. I would say it is slightly lower than mid rise. If you're used to wearing high rise (which I do love), it will feel a little weird as you adjust, but it really isn't bad like the ones I remember. That being said, I will be wearing a belt with these as I just like that added "security" as well as look. The fabric is a nice weight with a decent stretch. Great for most the year, save for summer. I ordered this in two colors including a light wash. Both fit similarly, which isn't always the case.

Petite fit just right 5.1" size 27 sometimes petite is too short but these jeans can be worn with sneakers or low heel boots. They do stretch a bit after 1-2 wearing so need to wash and dry to shrink back to original size. Color is a medium blue.

Great fit and a unique style. These jeans can go casual or dressed up. Love the side split with ankle boots. Highly recommend.

These are my new favorite jeans. Being petite, I have really struggled with all of the high and mid rise jeans, as they go up way too high on me. These "low rise" seem like a normal rise to me. I'm 5'1" and 135 lbs. I normally wear a size 4 or 6, so I ordered the 27 petite and 28 petite. 27 fit perfectly.

These are the best fitting jeans I've found in a LONG time! The length is literally perfect. Plus, they aren't low rise like the stuff we wore 20ish years ago that showed muffin top. The waist is high enough so the jeans don't slip down, and low enough that I don't feel like I'm being poured into them. For reference, I'm 5'3", 145 lbs with a 40" waist, so I went with a size 29/8 short length. I'll definitely be buying another pair! They did loosen up over the course of wearing them for the day, so maybe I could go a size smaller, idk.

These jeans are so comfy! I love curvy fit and the low rise. Not sure about the wear and tear, but so far so good. I am between sizes and ended up going for the 6 over the 8 and i'm so glad I did. Overall, very happy.

I love everything about these jeans except for the rise. I'm 5'6" and curvy, with some extra midsection thanks to middle age, but I miss the Gap bootleg jeans that I used to wear religiously. I was hopeful that a curvy cut would work for me, and it does flatter very nicely from the waist down... but I just can't do the low rise. I could pull it off in the 2000s, but it's just too uncomfortable now. If these came in a mid or high rise, I would buy them in every color, but these are sadly going to have to go back.

I am 5'5", 140lbs, size 27 pant and these are PERFECT! It's usually hard for me to find pants that are true mid-rise or low-rise without being too low. These are the perfect rise for me, they sit just below my bellybutton and dont squeeze me too tight in the hips. They are very flattering and the first time I wore them I was getting so many compliments on how slim I looked. I will be buying these in two more colors, 100% recommend if you struggle with finding a true mid rise/boot cut slimming jean.
