I was really impressed with the sturdiness of these cargos and am back to buy more for my boys--and girls--and, admittedly, myself, as I don't have an hourglass shape, and another reviewer loved them as an adult. However, the size 14 I ordered had sewing issues on the front, resulting in white thre...ad showing on the navy. They fit my short but slender (about 85lb) 14yro perfectly, with maybe an inch in the waist to grow. Expected them to be a little bigger, but I think he's done growing for a time, so it's fine. The size 7 I ordered for my small and short 8yro was surprisingly much too big! I'm reordering him 6s. He wears size 7 jeans from another popular brand.... Shrug.
Ordered size 18, but my son couldn't even get them on. They were labeled 18, but more like a 12-14, this happened with multiple color choices of cargo shorts. Very disappointed but not surprised! I am no longer able to purchase GAP clothing with confidence that it will actually be what it is labeled....

These cargo shorts are my "go to" for my 2 boys. They fit nicely, wash nicely, and they actually like them even though they aren't gym shorts! I have been purchasing Gap cargo shorts for several years. The quality is so good that they last through 2 boys, and still have plenty of life left in them for another family to use! #sweepstakes
