I ordered a medium and large in the chino beige. It smells like I was sitting in a restaurant (garlic and onion??) I'm 5'9, 165 lbs and I preferred the fit of the medium. But seriously, why the smell??

I have this sweater in 2 colors. It's hands down the best color. I just ordered in Navy. The onions/BO/dirty smell is real. I can't shake it. I left it outside in the sun, tried to mask with perfume, nothing works. It's like melted into the cotton. I came here and saw the reviews that I wasn't the only one. What happened Gap? I want to keep the navy so bad but the smell is just too gross. why this is happening! Giving this 4 starts because quality is amazing but BEWARE OF SMELL
Literally this smells like onions or BO. What is happening. I got navy blue XXS and it reeks, washed multiple times.

Not oversized in quite the right way. I am 5'5" weight 105. I bought a small. It's a smidge short. The crew neck is a little thick and close for that boho fishing sweater look that I love for summer. Kind of an odd fit. C'mon Gap! Your clothes have gotten too expensive for the lack of attention to detail. I kept it but hardly ever wear it. 😠

It's cute and looks more expensive than it is, I am 5"8 152lbs and got a Medium Tall as I wanted it to be a little longer. TTS and the perfect oversize fit, I chose to ignore reviews suggesting to size down as it's meant to be relaxed and I'm pleased with the size I ordered. Can't wait to style this with baggy jeans, and also over shorts in cooler summer evenings.
