I really enjoy this sweater. I really love the color. I bought the navy one and I'm super pleased with it. I'm somebody who has really long arms so typically I like to purchase the small tall size of everything however I bought the medium size of this sweater and it just fits perfectly. If you want ...to do like a cute little French tuck and have enough sweater to lay across the back, you have more than enough. The cut of the sweater is reminiscent of some more expensive brands. I can't recommend this hundred percent cotton sweater enough.
I own several of these sweaters and buy at least one every season. They're part of my (L.A.) winter uniform. I purchased two sweaters (lavender, XL & navy blue,XXL), they arrived separately. The lavender isn't as oversized on my plus sized body but it still fits nicely. The navy blue sweater is over...sized perfectly and the color great for me. So why the 3 star review? The blue sweater smelled like straight up chopped white onions. I wore it to work(!), but didn't notice the smell since i had a bit of a cold that was worse in the morning. I smelled some funk all day, thought it was a co-worker's lunch. To my horror, after taking some cold medicine, I realized the FUNK was coming from ME!! I've washed it and it still smells! so if you buy it and it smells return it.

Got this sweater and it fit perfectly and was beautiful. Washed it once and it smelled horrendous. Have tried washing it 5+ times since then and the smell has not come out no matter what I try or how I soak it. Customer service said as a quality issue I could return it then it got sent back to me because it stunk (I told customer service that's why I was sending it back). Overall horrible experience and just want a nice brown sweater

The sweater is lovely! I love the material and cut. I noticed the smell (like onions and BO) when I opened it but thought I could wash it away. Sadly, I have washed, vinegar soaked, and stripped and the smell remains! I had ordered another color and the smell was on that one as well!

gapcanada.ca/This is my second "stinky" Gap sweater. I got one at Christmas in black and had to return it as it stunk of onions right out of the package. I was really was hoping it was a one off but I got the white and while I was out the onion smell came out. It gets worse with body heat (and no it's not the wearer there are threads about this). It has been washed twice and remains stuck in the fabric. Really disappointed for the price and this chemical is surely a QA issue and I'm not sure why it hasn't been addressed. This also happened in the fall with a ON cotton sweater.
