I have the worst time looking for jeans. I want to be comfortable, but wear jeans and these fit the bill. The denim is lighter fabric and will stretch, but that was what I was looking for. I have a thick waist so high waisted jeans constrict my stomach, but this one is very relaxed and I can wear it... day to day without issue. I am usually a 29 or 30 in jeans, more 30 in gap jeans, but for these the 29s have room to spare. I am a 29 inseam and bought the regular short and the length looks as it does in the photo. I loved them so much that I bought a couple more 90s loose jeans but the sizing is all over the place, so if you like these don't expect the other 90s loose jeans to be the same sizing.
fit true to the size chart( at first), but they tend to become very baggy in about an hour or two. The reg. Length was just perfect for me at 5"4. If your waist is proportionally smaller, I would definitely size down. I could have done with a size smaller for sure, but these work as a very loose je...an. The front rise is 9 inches, not the 11 stated in the description, although I suspect this will vary pair-by-pair. I'd call this a lightweight denim, a true loose straight-leg, very dark wash with no fading, no chemical or dye smell, a decent pair of jeans. Not worth the full price (tag said over $70!) in my opinion, but good at the sale price .

I have these in two colors (faded black and medium blue color) and I like this shape. It's flattering, a good high rise, hold their shape well, cute cuffed or straight. I ordered a size down from my typical size (26 instead of 27) and I prefer the fit that way. #sweepstakes My only less than love bit is they aren't comfortable for lots of time seated as they start to dig into my waist due to the shape and no stretch

I am 5'4" and I got the regular because the petite was too short. They were a smidge too long. I washed and dried them in hot and I was able to get them to the perfect length, which was in between what a petite would be & the regular. I also sized down a bit and went to a 27 from my normal 28. They stretch out over the course of the day - so if they feel a little snug when you size down, they will stretch out.

Wow ive been missing out on jeans, always used to hate wearing jeans until this pair! They're a smidge too long as someone who is 5'2" but the petite version is a bit too short so I went with the regular inseam, which is still great with a pair of heels or a platform.

Like the fit very much but had to return and go down a size although I used the size chart. Grateful to find a good fitting high rise. Took off a star as not 100% cotton, hate the stretch added, and I wish the fabric was sturdier. Still I would buy again if needed and I couldn't find all cotton.

Love the fit of these jeans! At 5'4", 125 lbs, I'm typically either a 27 or 28. I went with the 28 in these for a slightly roomier fit. I could definitely have sized down, but liked the extra room at the waist. They're very comfortable with no slipping and no bag gaping. After wearing them for a couple of days, they have not stretched out. The only thing that would make these a 5-star is if the denim was slightly heavier. These are lighter than I'd hoped for a fall/winter jean, but I was so happy with the fit, I kept them.

Decent quality but way too long. I'm 5'6" and purchased size 31. Had to return. It's unfortunate they don't offer different inseams and/or include hemming.

I really like the style, color, comfort of these jeans. I was also happy that Gap offers a short length. I prefer to avoid shortening any type of pants. I did find that the waist was somewhat larger than expected, however this may change after washing and drying.
