So happy Gap makes organic cotton clothing for kids. With toxins everywhere these days, I'm trying to minimize chemical exposure, and I was even able to fix some health issues due to cutting down on using chemicals. However normally organic cotton is sold in high end stores that are far from afforda...ble. I'm very grateful to find that gap has this option for kids!
I've been buying gap pjs for my kids for years for the quality. But something has changed and the fabric is not as good of quality. I purchased a floral and leopard print pair for my 9 year old in size 10. Normally that would give her room to grow and get longer wear out of them. Both pairs the pant...s have shrunk until they look like she is wearing capri length pants and in only two months of wear! I purchased the same size in target pjs and they were long and loose on her. So it's not that she has outgrown them. The tops still fit as well.

These pajamas are pretty dang soft. There's nothing scratchy about the material, the cotton. The kid I gifted them to actually wants to wear them, which is half the battle. The fit runs true to average size (though I sized down for a slimmer kiddo). The color's exactly what was pictured. And the fabric's not thin or flimsy. There's actual quality there.

It's so hard to find 100% cotton pjs in this age range. The style is a little childish for an 8-year-old going on 30, but I'm never going to risk putting them in polyester pjs. This cotton is so soft and the color is great!
