I don't know who made up that sizing guide but obviously if you are a women's medium you shouldn't order the medium if that is also supposed to fit a men's medium. I'm usually a 12, so I got these in an XL to begin with. I had to send them back because they were gigantic. I exchanged for a large, and now they're almost too small. Fabric is light, so they're good for a Texas winter.
