The fabric is thinner, the pj pant waistband is just a drawstring, previously it was a comfortable thick elastic. The cuffs are smaller and just don't feel as substantial, that affects the drape.

Will not repurchase. I've worn this style of PJ pants for years and have purchased probably 30 pairs over the years and the quality is now terrible. I recently purchased about 5 new pairs and the cotton is so thin they are see through before washing. These used to be the best PJs.
