These are so soft and light and feel like a second skin, yet still look smart.... which is just what you want for sleeping/lounging in. However, leg length quite long for my height (5ft 5ins) and although the lightness of the silky modal fabric feels lovely, it is very unforgiving and shows all lump...s and bumps. For that reason getting a looser size (which can always pull in with waist drawstring) looks more drapey and flattering. I'm U.K. size 12 and Med fits well, but also got Large for more bloated days and to be looser. Bought black and grey, but returned grey because just too see-through. They wash well and dry quickly, but some of Gap's modal items do tend to have a slight weird chemical smell to them, but it does lessen/clear if use nice fabric conditioner and when they are dry again. Finally, as per usual, Gap ruin comfort factor by sewing in a clump of labels into the seam. Being extremely careful I was able to unpick them and remove, but it's always an annoying issue.
DO NOT BUY!! These were so disappointing. I ordered a few sets (pants, long sleeve, and short sleeve) in various colors because I wanted to treat myself to a pajama upgrade. I adored the fit and feel of these initially. However, they had a weird smell when I first received. This wasn't an issue beca...use I wash any garment I receive before wearing. The problem is that the smell got increasingly worse the more washes I ran them through. The chemical smell became a sewage/rotten egg smell as other reviews have mentioned. I used Lysol laundry sanitizer to pretreat and borax/washing soda/oxygen bleach to strip for hours before my last attempt washing. The smell was so sickening that my entire house smelled and my family became extremely nauseous. I have never dealt with clothing this awful and will absolutely never shop from GAP or their other brands again.

I love these pajamas so much they're the best. I have two pairs in 2 different lengths and im 5'6. The medium regular pant drags on the floor a lot if I want to wear them more low rise, so I got the medium petite in my next pair. The petite is slightly short, but still almost touches the ground when I wear them low rise. Ideally I'd be somewhere in the middle but both work. #sweepstakes

I'm really disappointed with the recent change to these pajamas. These used to be my absolute favorite, but it's clear the quality has gone down. The buttons on the shirt have been reduced to about half the size compared to previous versions. Because of this, the shirt no longer stays closed—it constantly pops open, which completely defeats the purpose. I even compared the buttons to pairs I purchased before, and the difference is obvious. It feels like a cost-cutting decision to save a few cents, but it significantly impacts the functionality and overall quality of the product. Such a shame, because these used to be a go-to staple. Unfortunately, I won't be purchasing again unless this is fixed.

I am 5 feet tall. I ordered these pajama pants in a small/petite. While the pant legs do measure 28" as specified in the description for the petite, the rise is ridiculously high. The waistband comes up onto my ribs. Of course it doesn't stay there and when it's slides down to my natural waist, the pant legs are so long, they pool on the floor. The elastic in the waistband is so narrow, I can't even roll it down to help the pants stay up. I am disappointed that Gap known for petite sizes, is selling these pants clearly not manufactured for a petite
